We try to keep our listeners and web site viewers safe when interacting with our radio stations and the stations’ electronic mediums. Read this page entirely to understand and to agree to the interactive terms and conditions, and our official contest rules on this page.

RULES FOR INDIVIDUAL CONTESTS

The section below is reserved for all recent contests and provides a set of rules for each contest. Please read carefully.

2016 Star 95.1 Super 70’s Day Party (various contests)

Run dates: February 4, 2016 9am-5pm only
Location: WCDZ-FM 95.1, W275BF 102.9 FM, STAR951.COM Listen Live link, Star 95.1 on the Thunderbolt Radio app

Wherever the words WCMT-AM/WCMT-FM/WCDZ/WQAK/KYTN appear in these rules, they include the business entity, to which the Stations WCMT-AM, WCMT-FM, WCDZ-FM, WQAK-FM and/or KYTN-FM are licensed, and any member companies, parent corporations, and affiliates. Call letters mentioned above belong to parent company Thunderbolt Broadcasting Company (TBC, Thunderbolt Radio, Thunderbolt Broadcasting, Thunderbolt Digital, Thunderbolt Radio and Digital), which may also be referenced in this document. The words “Qualifier” or “Entrant” refers to the person filing a contest entry. The word “Winner” refers to the person who wins the contest.

These rules pertain to on-air material: On-air trivia questions, trivia contestants, grand prize drawing

1) No purchase is necessary to play in the Thunderbolt Broadcasting Company’s “Star 95.1 Super 70s Day Party.”

2) All Qualifiers must be permanent residents of Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Illinois or Missouri and must provide Thunderbolt Broadcasting Company with a valid form of identification and Social Security number satisfactory to Thunderbolt Broadcasting Company management.

3) Subject to rule (4) below, all Qualifiers must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to participate in contests that include hotel/motel accommodations, motor vehicles, boats, and/or air travel as prizes.

4) All Qualifiers must be at least 21 years old to be eligible for all contests affiliated with an alcoholic beverage manufacturer or distributor.

5) One entry per household will be permitted to participate in a contest. A “household” is defined as any individuals residing at the same address. After winning a contest on WCMT-AM/WCMT-FM/WCDZ/WQAK/KYTN, the individual/household is ineligible to win any other contests on WCMT-AM/WCMT-FM/WCDZ/WQAK/KYTN for a period of thirty (30) days. All individuals/households receiving a prize valued at $600.00 or more on WCMT-AM/WCMT-FM/WCDZ/WQAK/KYTN may be issued a 1099 Federal Income Tax Form by Thunderbolt Broadcasting Company, and are ineligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more for a period of one calendar year from the date of winning. If it is determined that a selected Qualifier is ineligible as a result of one or both of these restrictions, another Qualifier will be selected. This selection procedure will continue until these restrictions are satisfied.

6) “Trivia questions” will be asked to the over-the-air audience (Contestants) to compete for prizes from local businesses. Prizes will be described to Contestants before each question is asked. Contestants correctly answering a question will receive the prize described by the disc jockey and will be named the Winner of said prize. Also, the Winner’s name will be entered into a pot for a random drawing to win the grand prize at the end of the day (4:30pm).

6a) Phone contestants are not eligible to win the Super 70s Day Party Football which is a separate contest. In order to register for the football random drawing, contestants must register through the web site, STAR951.COM on the official registration page. Please refer to the “Star 95.1 Super 70s Day Party Football Giveaway” official contest rules to learn how to register for that drawing.

7) Any Entrant who did not previously accept / pick up a prize from either the Martin or Union City studio will be instantly disqualified due to unfair play and will not be able to enter future contests, both online and on the air (see above: Section 9, General Contest Rules). Entrant will also be placed on the Thunderbolt Radio and Digital “black list” in order to prevent future misuses of contests.

8) Winner hereby agrees to abide by these simple terms:

a) Be a listener to any of the Thunderbolt Broadcasting stations
b) Be inside the listening area and able to make a trip to the Martin, Tennessee studio if they were to win the contest in order to pick up their prize
c) Be agreeable to sign a release of rights enabling Thunderbolt Broadcasting to promote your photo, name, likeness and location of listening on the air and on our Facebook pages and social media (Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
d) Be in agreement with the General Contest Rules, Online Privacy Policy, Web Site and Digital App Usage Terms and these rules outlined herein

9) Grand Prize Winner will be drawn at random from the Grand Prize Qualifiers’ Pot live on the air at 4:30pm on Friday, February 5, 2016. Winner is instructed to call in to the radio station at 731-364-9595 once they hear their name on the radio. If Winner has not called the radio station, the Winner will be contacted by the phone number they supplied on the online request/registration form.

9a) Winners who do not pick up prizes within 10 days of winning forfeit the prize or prizes. Prizes will be returned to the prize closet for future giveaways.

10) All prizes in all Super 70s Day Party Contests (both online and over the air) are non-negotiable, non-transferable and may not be exchanged for any other prize, substitution or monetary compensation no matter of equal or lesser value. By winning a contest or correctly answering a trivia question, Winner accepts all liability associated with prize or prizes.

11) A copy of these rules, along with the General Contest Rules, Privacy Policy, and Usage Terms are available at our studios during normal business hours 8am-430pm at 223 Westgate Drive, Union City, Tennessee, and at 1410 N. Lindell Street, Martin, Tennessee.

2016 Star 95.1 Super 70’s Day Party Football Giveaway

Run dates: December 31, 2015 to February 4, 2016

These rules pertain to web-site material, specifically to: Digital registration form, final random drawing for football

1) No purchase is necessary to enter the Thunderbolt Broadcasting Company’s “Star 95.1 Super 70s Day Party Football Giveaway” online contest.

4) All Qualifiers must be at least 21 years old to be eligible for all contests affiliated with an alcoholic beverage manufacturer or distributor.

6) This is an online contest. Only the contest form located at https://www.thunderboltradio.com/star-95-1/ssdp/ may be used to submit an entry to the contest. No other forms of entry such as call-ins, instant messages, text messages or direct e-mails will be accepted.

6a) No entry into the contest is necessary to make a song request using the online form. Web site user has the choice when sending a song request to enter to win the football or to not be entered into the contest. Names of Entrants choosing to opt-in to win the football will be added to the “football” entries pot and a winner will be drawn at random on the air at 4:30pm on Friday, February 5, 2016.

6b) Entrants must supply the name of the city that they live in and a working phone number so that Thunderbolt Broadcasting may contact the Entrant if that person is drawn to win the contest. If the winning Entrant can not be reached by phone up to ten (10) days following the contest, Entrant will forfeit the prize and the prize will be returned to the prize closet for another drawing. Entrant also will not be eligible for future Thunderbolt Radio and Digital contests and will be placed on the Thunderbolt Radio and Digital “black list” waiving their right and any rights in Entrant’s household to win contests with the radio station(s).

7) Because this contest is an online contest, it is understood at the time an entry is made that the Website Terms of Use, Online Privacy Policy and these contest rules are accepted. Web site users of the contest form will see a link to this page so that they may read these rules in their entirety. Entrants must accept these terms and also these individual contest rules terms.

8) A copy of the web site user’s entry is e-mailed to the Entrant. A copy of the entry is also e-mailed to the Thunderbolt Broadcasting predetermined e-mail inbox for review. All entries are reviewed for completeness. An incomplete entry is instantly disqualified.

9) Any Entrant who did not previously accept / pick up a prize from either the Martin or Union City studio will be instantly disqualified due to unfair play and will not be able to enter future contests, both online and on the air (see above: Section 9, General Contest Rules). Entrant will also be placed on the Thunderbolt Radio and Digital “black list” in order to prevent future misuses of contests.

10) Winner hereby agrees to abide by these simple terms:

11) Winner will be drawn at random from the submissions generated on the web page as mentioned in above item #6 of these rules. Winner will be drawn on the air at 4:30pm on Friday, February 5, 2016. Winner is instructed to call in to the radio station at 731-364-9595 once they hear their name on the radio. If Winner has not called the radio station, the Winner will be contacted by the phone number they supplied on the online request/registration form.

11a) Entrants who did not supply a phone number to be contacted if they win will be disqualified.

12) All prizes in all Super 70s Day Party Contests (both online and over the air) are non-negotiable, non-transferable and may not be exchanged for any other prize, substitution or monetary compensation no matter of equal or lesser value. By winning a contest or correctly answering a trivia question, Winner accepts all liability associated with prize or prizes.

2015 Thunderbolt Broadcasting Halloween Costume Contest

Run dates: September 23, 2015 to October 25, 2015

The words “Qualifier” or “Entrant” refers to the person filing a contest entry. The word “Winner” refers to the person who wins the contest. The word “Contestant” refers to a person submitting an entry for the contest. The word “Voter” refers to a person voting on an entry.

4) All Qualifiers must be at least 21 years old to be eligible for all contests affiliated with an alcoholic beverage manufacturer or distributor.

6) This is an online contest. The contest page is located at https://www.thunderboltradio.com/halloween/ and this is the only page to play the contest. Photos of Contestants dressed in costume will be posted on this page, and a voting form will be provided when voting begins. Votes will be tabulated at the end of the voting period as outlined on the contest page.

7) Because this contest is an online contest, it is understood at the time an entry is made that the Website Terms of Use, Online Privacy Policy and these contest rules are accepted. Web site users of the contest form will see a link to this page so that they may read these rules in their entirety. Because Contestants must submit their entries via e-mail, Contestants are to understand the rules outlined on this page before sending an e-mail to Thunderbolt Broadcasting.

8) All entries are reviewed for completeness. An incomplete entry is instantly disqualified. Contestants must provide their full name, birthday, city and state, station listened to most often, and a photo of the contestant dressed in costume. Entries submitted that do not meet these requirements are disqualified. By submitting a photo with the personal information required above, Contestant agrees to release their personal information and photo to Thunderbolt Broadcasting for promotion of their image, name, location, most often listened to radio station.

9) Any Contestant who did not previously accept / pick up a prize from either the Martin or Union City studio will be instantly disqualified due to unfair play and will not be able to enter for future contests, both online and on the air (see above: Section 9, General Contest Rules).

10) Web site visitors / visitors who link from Social Media sites to thunderboltradio.com have the ability to vote on a Contestant’s photo.

11) Contestant photos will be available on this web site (the web address specified in section 6 above) after voting has closed and the contest is complete.

Wherever the words TBC, WCMT-AM/WCMT-FM/WCDZ/WQAK/KYTN appear in these rules, they include the business entity, to which the Stations WCMT-AM, WCMT-FM, WCDZ-FM, WQAK-FM and/or KYTN-FM are licensed, and any member companies, parent corporations, and affiliates. Call letters mentioned above belong to parent company Thunderbolt Broadcasting Company (TBC, Thunderbolt Radio, Thunderbolt Broadcasting), which may also be referenced in this document. The words “Qualifier” or “Entrant” refers to the person filing a contest entry. The word “Winner” refers to the person who wins the contest. 4) All Qualifiers must be at least 21 years old to be eligible for all contests affiliated with an alcoholic beverage manufacturer or distributor.

6) GENERAL CONTEST INFORMATION. This is an online contest. Registration on this web site is required to enter the league. The actual contest page is located at https://www.thunderboltradio.com/fantasyfootball/ and this is the only page on this site to view the weekly results. The registration page for this contest is located at https://www.thunderboltradio.com/fantasy/ and qualifiers may only enter the contest using the form located on said page. Deadline for entries is August 23, 2016, 10:00AM Central Standard Time. Entries will not be accepted after the deadline. At the end of the Fantasy Football matches in First Quarter 2017, the winner’s name will be drawn and publicized on Facebook, Twitter, on-air and on this web site. Winner will be contacted by telephone using the number provided at registration. Winner agrees to accept the recliner (valued at $500) from the contest sponsor BB’s Furniture and Mattress Gallery, Martin, Tennessee. Winner also agrees to the terms that there will be no exchange of the recliner (you cannot swap the recliner for cash money, another piece of furniture, a sales credit, gift card, or any kind of monetary exchange, i.e., you are playing the contest to win only the recliner). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register to play the contest.

4) All Qualifiers must be at least 21 years old to be eligible for all contests affiliated with an alcoholic beverage manufacturer or distributor.

5) One entry per household will be permitted to participate in a contest. A “household” is defined as any individuals residing at the same address. After winning a contest on WCMT-AM/WCMT-FM/WCDZ/WQAK/KYTN, the individual/household is ineligible to win any other contests on WCMT-AM/WCMT-FM/WCDZ/WQAK/KYTN for a period of thirty (30) days. All individuals/households receiving a prize valued at $600.00 or more on WCMT-AM/WCMT-FM/WCDZ/WQAK/KYTN will be issued a 1099 Federal Income Tax Form by Thunderbolt Broadcasting Company, and are ineligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more for a period of one calendar year from the date of winning.
