Ohio River and Mississippi River Both Over Flood Stage Locally

The Mississippi and Ohio Rivers continue to rise following the heavy amounts of rainfall.

The Ohio River at Paducah is at 46.5-feet today, just over seven-feet above flood stage. The Ohio River at Paducah is scheduled to crest on April 16th at 49.5-feet.

The Ohio River at Cairo is at 52.1-feet today, 12.1 feet over the flood stage of 40-feet. The Ohio at Cairo will crest on Thursday at 54-feet.

The Mississippi River at Hickman is at 44.2-feet today, almost 11-feet over flood stage. The river is set to crest at Hickman on Thursday at 46.5-feet.

The Mississippi River at Tiptonville is almost three-feet over flood stage today at 35.4-feet. The Mississippi is expected to crest Friday at 44.5-feet.

And the Mississippi at Caruthersville is at 36.4-feet today, just over four-feet above flood stage.

The river at Caruthersville will crest Saturday at 40.5-feet.
