UT Martin head football coach Jason Simpson has announced the promotion of Jerry Partridge to defensive coordinator.
Coach Partridge has worked on Coach Simpson’s staff since 2023 as an assistant head coach overseeing the defensive back, punt return, and special teams units.
Mr. Partridge will be taking over for former defensive coordinator Brandon Butcher who resigned to take a position at UTEP (University of Texas El Paso).
Coach Partridge previously spent 20 seasons as the head coach of Missouri Western State along with holding roles at Northern Arizona and Delta State.
