The Weakley County Chamber of Commerce along with CCH Healthcare hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Weakley Rehabilitation & Nursing Center on Tuesday.
CCH purchased the nursing home last year from Weakley County. It was previously run by the County Commission.
CCH CEO Jacob Stern told Thunderbolt News about his company, which operates 31 nursing homes across North Carolina and Ohio.
Mr. Stern also told us the story behind the purchase of the Weakley County Nursing Center, their first business in Tennessee.
The Weakley County Nursing Center offers short term recovery, wound care, and Mr. Stern says they are looking at opening a dementia unit.
