
The Ken-Tenn area will be seeing Spring like temperatures this week.
Along with daytime highs in the 70’s will be the possibility of strong to severe thunderstorms starting Friday.
Memphis National Weather Service Meteorologist John Sirmon told Thunderbolt News that forecasters already have their sights set on the possible severe weather.(AUDIO)
With the possibility of the first severe weather outbreak, Sirmon said the time has come for area residents to begin their safety planning.(AUDIO)
At this time, the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma says the strongest impact from the storm front includes West Tennessee, Western Kentucky, Southeast Missouri and Northeast Arkansas.
