Dresden High School Performing Arts Director Jacob Abbott has been named as one of the 2025 Yamaha “40 Under 40” Educators of Music Education Excellence.
During his tenure at Dresden Mr. Abbot has brought concert band, choir, contemporary music ensemble, and multiple general music classes to the school.
After seeing the lack of music opportunities for students at Dresden, Abbot committed himself to building the program.
Yamaha’s “40 under 40” highlights exceptional educators who demonstrate action, courage, creativity, and growth in music education.
