Weakley County Mayor Dale Hutcherson along with nine county commissioners and Weakley County Road Supervisor Jeff Cosby attended County Government Day in Nashville this week.
Mayor Hutcherson says the conference gives local officials the opportunity to talk with state representatives.
Mayor Hutcherson tells us that one topic they focused on with representatives during the conference was changing property transfer tax regulations.
County Government Day is organized by the Tennessee County Services Association, which was created to develop more efficient economical functions of local government.
