UT Martin fell 71 to 66 in overtime to Tennessee Tech despite the Skyhawks clinching a berth in OVC Championship Tournament in Evansville March 5-8.
After building the overtime lead 66-62 Tennessee Tech made nine unanswered points to win the game
It was the sixth overtime game of the season; matching the 1998-99 UTM team for the most Overtime’s in a single season in school history.
UTM fell to 12-17 overall and 8-10 in the OVC.
The Skyhawks will play again Thursday against Southern Indiana in the Elam Center.
