The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch that includes the Ken-Tenn area.
Forecasters say the watch area will be in effect from late Friday night thru late Saturday night.
Current forecasts indicate widespread rainfall amounts from two-to-five inches or more, during the watch period.
Heavy rainfall on already saturated grounds could cause flooding issues in creeks, streams, rivers and other low lying areas.
Forecasts also indicate the rain will possibly mix with snow late Saturday night, as temperatures drop to around 30-degrees with 25 mile-per-hour northwest winds.
