An Obion County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been recognized for a life saving effort.
Sheriff Karl Jackson presented a Medal of Valor and letter of commendation to Sgt. Danny Evans.
The honors were presented to Sgt. Evans following his heroic actions to rescue a man from a vehicle fire while on duty.
