Union City Turf Department Director Robin Francis updated City Council members about summer baseball and softball in the city.
During the annual address to the board, Mayor Terry Hailey questioned Francis about the effects of travel baseball and softball teams.(AUDIO)

Francis said ten tournaments are already scheduled in Union City, and he anticipates that number to increase soon.
