One of Martin’s oldest establishments has been sold. Murphy funeral home and florist has sold to the Hornbeak Funeral Home
On good times in the morning Murphy Funeral Home family member Mary Elizabeth Higgs along with Garrett Hutchens, owner of Hornbeak funeral home, shared the news of the transition.
The Hutchens family took over management of Murphy Funeral Home at the beginning of January.
Mr. Hutchens went on to say plans are underway to improve the funeral home.
