A fatal one-vehicle accident took place in Union City on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred when a pick-up truck struck a tree in a residential area on West Florida Avenue.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol and Union City Police Department were at the scene of the crash.
Official information concerning the accident is expected to be released sometime on Wednesday.
