The Obion County School System has been recognized for student and staff achievement.
School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said Lake Road Elementary was named a Reward School for the 2023-24 year.
This is the highest federal designation a school can achieve.
Also, the Obion County School System was designated as an Advancing District.
This honor was awarded to only ten school districts across the state for the school year.
