At this week’s Union City Council meeting, members selected the City Mayor for the next two years.
City Attorney Jim Glasgow Jr. served as the temporary chairman during the nominating process.(AUDIO)
Council members also re-appointed Randy Barnes to serves as the Mayor Pro-Tem.
Tuesday night also served as the first meeting for newly elected Ward 3 Councilman Patrick Smith.
Smith gained the seat following a win over incumbent Dianne Eskew in the November State and Federal Election.
