An Obion County school principal has been selected to an elite state program.
School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said Hillcrest elementary principal Brittany Simmons has been named to the 2024-25 Tennessee Rural Principals Network.
The program is led by the Tennessee Department of Education and Belmont University, and includes 57 selected school leaders statewide.
With her selection, Dr. Simmons will help support rural school leaders in strengthening educational opportunities for students across the state.
