District 76 State Representative Tandy Darby has announced $1.34 million in Community Development Block Grant funding has been awarded to Greenfield and Paris for improvements to infrastructure and safety.
Representative Darby told Thunderbolt Radio what the funding would be used for.
The CDBG grants aim to assist communities with improvements to water, sewer, and health.
Greenfield has been awarded $622,168 to replace water meters, while Paris was given $717,600 to make ADA improvements to Eiffel Tower Park.
Representative Darby talked about the work that goes into securing grants like the CDBG.
