The question of ‘where’ has been answered for the Union City Golden Tornadoes football playoff game on Friday.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said the (10-2) Tornadoes will travel to Crump Stadium in Memphis, where they will play (10-1) Memphis Academy of Science & Engineering in the Class 1A state quarterfinals.
The venue will be the same as last years playoff game, where Union City escaped with a 35-34 victory.
Both teams are state-ranked heading into this year’s contest.
The Twisters coming in at No. 3, while MASE is ranked sixth.
The winner of the game will host either No. 1 McKenzie (12-0) or Richland (9-3) in the semifinals the day after Thanksgiving on November 29th.
