The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close one lane on Eastbound I-24 at Mile Marker 31 on the Tennessee River Bridge work today.
Motorist should move to the right lane to allow crews to remove the remaining barrier wall and place permanent striping.
The rehab and painting project on the bridge is expected to be finished in the next two weeks.
The Kentucky State Police will have patrols in the area.
