A Union City woman has been charged with shoplifting at Walmart.
Police were called to the West Reelfoot Avenue location, after 63 year old Brenda Chessor attempted to leave the store without paying for just over $170 in merchandise.
The report stated Ms. Chessor attempted to steal an Ihome Vacuum valued at $119, cookware valued at $32 and a coffee pot valued at $20.
Security personnel said Ms. Chessor had stolen from the store last month, but was allowed to pay for the item.
She was charged with theft and barred from Walmart properties, and given a court date of November 26th.
