The Weakley County Commission has announced that they have hired a replacement for Ned McWherter Library Director Candy McAdams who will be retiring in March.
The new Director, Amanda Jane Bacigalupo, is currently the children’s librarian for the Maury County Public Library.
Ms. Bacigalupo will be spending 30 days shadowing Director McAdams starting in February.
The library also received a $12,000 donation from an individual donor that will be used to upgrade security.
