Weakley County’s Administrator of Elections has released the names of the candidates who hope to win a seat during the elections tomorrow.
Greenfield has seven candidates seeking four seats on the city board. They include Brad Borneman, Ray Ann Ewing, Randy Potts, Paul Richmond, Cody Rickets, Becky Galey-Strawn and Donald Ray High. Mr. High is the only incumbent.
Meanwhile in Dresden, incumbent aldermen Ralph Cobb, Kenneth Moore, and Willie Parker are seeking re election along with Lyndal Dilday. Three will be elected from the four.
In Gleason four candidates are seeking the office of Alderman. All will be elected including incumbent Mike Bennett, Shawn Francisco, James Hines, and Mike Stafford.
In Martin, Ward one Alderman Danny Nanney will not be seeking re-election. Tony Prince and Celeste Taylor are seeking the chair.
And in Ward three, Alderman Randy Edwards is being challenged by Jacob Crowe.
Sharon incumbent Aldermen Stewart Broussard and Wanda Hamlin will be unopposed.
Meanwhile Gleason Mayor Charles Anderson, Greenfield Mayor Cindy McAdams and Sharon Mayor Donna Stricklin are unopposed.
