City of Martin Ward One Alderman and Vice Mayor Danny Nanney announced that he will be stepping away from the Board.
At the City Board meeting this week Alderman Nanney said that the November 12th meeting would be his final meeting after 24 years of serving Martin.
Mr. Nanney talked about the changes that have been made in Martin during his tenure.
Alderman Nanney went on to mention the people he has worked with over the years.
Voting for Ward One Alderman will be in the November Election.
Two candidates are seeking the ward one chair to succeed Alderman Nanney. They are Tony Prince and Celeste Taylor.
