Obion County Mayor Steve Carr gave an update on negotiations for a solution concerning parking at South Fulton Elementary School.
Parents and family members are being required to park out on the four lane when attending school events, and to drop off and pick up children in the afternoon.
Mayor Carr told Budget Committee members about a recent meeting with the Tennessee Department of Transportation.(AUDIO)
Mayor Carr said TDOT is planning to put new stripes down in front of the school, but he hopes they finally comply with the recommendations from the community to correct the dangerous issue.
