A former Dresden woman has been inducted into the Missouri University of Science and Technology Sports Hall of Fame in Rolla, Missouri.
Sarah Lee Moore was inducted this past Saturday as a Coach and Administrator who worked at Missouri S&T from 1979 to 2013.
Coach Moore began coaching softball at Missouri S&T in 1979 and later coached cross country, track, and tennis. She also served as Assistant Athletic Director.
Ms. Moore also served on the NCAA track and field committee from 1992 to 1999.
She is the sister of Judge Tommy Moore of Dresden and was a 1969 graduate of Dresden High School and Union University.
