The Union City Police Department has reported a very successful effort with their 3rd annual “Shop with a Cop” golf scramble.
During the event held this past Saturday at Wynridge in Troy, around $15,000 was raised for “Shop With a Cop” that benefits less fortunate children at Christmas.
First place honors in the scramble went to Chip Grinder, Phillip Uzzle, John Britt and Bubba Flowers, with Hunter Shumate, Jermey Long, Seth Ursery and Brady Hughes placing second.
Third place went to the team of David Wall, Zach Buckland, Tad Dalton and Jake Curley.
The Union City Police Department reported the generosity of the scramble winning teams, who donated all prize money back to the “Shop with a Cop” program.
