The UT Martin men’s rodeo squad piled up points in the calf roping event over the weekend at Arkansas-Monticello as the Ozark Region schedule continued.
The Skyhawk men’s team accrued 100 points over the three-day rodeo, tying for seventh alongside Murray State in the final standings.
Four separate UT Martin representatives registered points in the aforementioned calf roping event. Caleb Dunn came away with points in all three phases. Owen Larrick’s time of 11.1 seconds in the first go ranked fourth in the field while Caden Ussery’s 13.0 flat in the opening round was the fifth-best time.
In team roping, Bentley Anthony and Jace Stigall each claimed points as a duo.
On the women’s side, Caysen Orman performed well in barrel racing. She split second in the short go while placing fourth in average.
The Skyhawks return to Arkansas next weekend to Magnolia for a rodeo hosted by Southern Arkansas.
