Volunteers with Weakley County Backpack program gathered on Tuesday in Dresden to pack lunches for children in need.
President of the program Colin Johnson explained what they do.
Mr. Johnson said the program was originally started with the Rotary Club and has been going on for 14 years.
The program needs volunteers the first Tuesday of every month during the school year to pack the meals. They meet at noon at the First Baptist Church in Dresden.
