Marianne Moore, Gryphon Rowland, and Hayden Swaim are the first senior class in the history of Westview High School to win a match in the state tournament and all three were honored Thursday night at the Martin Soccer Complex with an 11 to nothing win over South Fulton.

The Lady Chargers made quick work of the visiting South Fulton Lady Red Devils in the district 12A match-up.

All three seniors registered goals with a total of  eight Lady Chargers finding the back of the net.

Rylan Diehl started the scoring just one minute in, and that was quickly followed by a deluge of scoring. Freshman Sophie Bowlin and Swaim had two each, with Cami Carlson, Harper Jones, Brea McGuffin, and Kaydence Papich joining in with one a piece.

Despite the  shut out,  South Fulton goalkeeper Reagan Johnson swatted away 16 shots, most at point blank range to registered an impressive 16 saves.

Westview (9-6-1, 2-0) will head to Huntingdon on Tuesday for a chance to secure the district championship and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. First touch is scheduled for 6 pm.
