There’s big money to be saved on admission costs to home Union City Schools athletic events.

School Communications Director Mike Hutcens said All-Sports passes are available to the public at the high school and middle school, bringing significant savings to the bearer.

The passes can be purchased at the schools during regular business hours, and are $75 for UCHS events ($40 for students) and $50 for UCMS contests ($20 for students).

They will provide general admission to all home Tornado football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, softball, soccer, and track contests.

School officials estimated there would be several hundreds of dollars in savings for fans who attend most or all athletic events.

Reserve chairback tickets for football will still be available for the coming season for $75 each. However, if patrons purchase an All-Sports pass also, the price of the chairback tickets will be reduced to $50.

Union City Schools are also again partnering with HomeTown Ticketing to allow for the purchasing of digital tickets to Twister home football games this fall.

Fans will be able to download the Hometown ticketing app from either their iPhone or Android phone’s app store and order game tickets. They can also scan the QR code at the gate of War Memorial Stadium to purchase individual game tickets.

The cost of the ticket itself is $7. With HT fees added, the final price will be just over $8.

Individual general admission tickets will still be available at the gate but will cost $10 each.

Admission for all middle school athletic contests is $5 per game. HomeTown ticketing will not be used for UCMS athletic events.
