A proclamation honoring Harold T. Conner Sr. will be presented by the City of Martin along with UT Martin Saturday evening.
The proclamation will declare December 30th as Harold Tilton Conner Sr. Day.
Mr. Conner served as principal of the Weakley County Training School. He was also Dean of Student Affairs as well as Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at UTM.
Mr. Conner also served as a pastor at Fuller Street Baptist Church for 40 years.
Mr. Conner passed away in 2017.
