Murray State University’s Department of Athletics has announced plans for alcohol sales at home football games.
The athletic department, in conjunction with local and state officials and Sodexo partners, will begin the sale of select alcoholic beverages this season.
During Racer football games, fans can purchase beer, seltzers and other similar offerings at the concession stands of Roy Stewart Stadium.
Athletics Director Nico Yantko said the idea came from exploring unique ways to further enhance the game day experience for the fans.
Plans call for the limit of two transactions per sale, with alcohol sales to stop at the end of the third quarter.
