The attempt to correct the name of an Obion County road hit a snag this week.
County Budget Committee Chairman Sam Sinclair Jr. presented a Resolution to change Shafner Road to Shoffner Road.(AUDIO)
County Commissioner Allen Nohsey gave board members some history of the road, along with the spelling of the name.(AUDIO)
Just before a vote was taken on the change, Nohsey called for an amendment.(AUDIO)
The Commission voted unanimously to postpone the name change until the August meeting.
