Kentucky State Police continue their investigation into the death of a Dresden woman at the Fulton County Detention Center.
Just before 4:00 on Friday afternoon, officials with the Detention Center contacted Post 1 after 40 year old Charlina M. Easley was found unresponsive in her cell.
Ms. Easley was transported to a local medical center where she was pronounced deceased.
During the State Police investigation, detectives discovered another female inmate, 42 year old Brandy Reynolds of South Fulton, concealed fentanyl on her person during intake at the jail.
Ms. Reynolds is suspected of providing fentanyl to Ms. Easley and several other inmates.
She has been charged with six counts of promoting contraband, while Ms. Easley was taken for autopsy with toxicology results pending.
