Union City police were contacted concerning the theft of jewelry from a home.
Police reports said officers responded to East Dr. Martin Luther King Drive to speak with 79 year old Geneva Crumble.
Ms. Crumble said she discovered eight diamond rings missing.
The value of the theft was listed at approximately $3,000.
Officers are continuing their investigation, and anyone with any information is urged to contact the Union City Police Department or their CrimeStoppers Tipline.
