The City of Martin will be hosting “Music in the Park” Thursday evening from 5 til 8 in downtown Martin.
The Martin Community Band will be playing a number of special “Southern Hospitality” songs along with the Star Spangled Banner and others.
The Martin Parks and Recreation will have bleachers and picnic tables available. You may also bring a blanket and chairs to enjoy the picnic atmosphere.
Mayor Randy Brundige said the event is “family oriented” and parents are encouraged to bring their children to enjoy a good night with the family.
The band will be playing at the “Stage” at the Martin Public Library on Lindell Street.
