The Tennessee Department of Transportation will be assisting motorists during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
TDOT Commissioner Butch Eley said construction related lane closures will be suspended on interstates and state routes.
The suspension will begin Friday at noon and will continue until 6:00 Tuesday morning.
Triple-A is predicting a record of more than 926,000 Tennesseans will travel for the holiday period.
Triple-A officials say almost 784,000 of those residents will be driving to their holiday destination.
