The Obion County Central tennis teams had outstanding performances at the Hornet Cup Tournament at South Gibson County High School.
School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said the girls team took home first place honors with wins over two South Gibson teams, McNairy County, Dyer County, and Munford High School.
The boys clinched second place during the tournament.
The girls team included Taylor Warren, Elizabeth Woody, Hannah Taylor, Holly Williams, Hannah Strauser, and Emma Heathcott.
The boys team included Olin Johnson, Luis “Kilo” Rodriguez, Braden Elam, Sam Cunningham, Jake Underwood, and AJ Gammons.
The head coach is Randy Mitchell, with assistant coach Patience Sheets.
