The Tennessee Highway Patrol has added new members following graduation on Friday in Nashville.
The newest class of Troopers took part in the 17 week cadet class and 11 week lateral cadet class.
Governor Bill Lee served as the keynote speaker during the ceremony, with the oath given to 49 new Troopers.
The lateral cadet class, which consisted of individuals with prior law enforcement experience, brings a total of 187 years of previous experience.
The new Troopers will be assigned to districts across the state.
