The Tennessee Association of Fairs has named Union City’s Blake Laws as its new president effective this past weekend in Murfreesboro.
The thirty seven year old Laws has been involved with the Obion County Fair since he was 12 years old and will serve his presidential term for the state wide fairs immediately.
He is also the 1st Vice President of the Obion County Fair and has served in numerous positions for the past twenty five years.
The Tennessee Association of Fairs is now in its 102nd year.
The Obion County Fair was established in 1931 and will be celebrating its 66th year when the Fair returns August 17th in Union City.
Mr. Laws is the HR manager at Tyson Foods in Humboldt.
