New Hickman City Manager Robert Griggs occupied the office for the first time on Monday.
Griggs comes to the position as a former City Commissioner and longtime employee of Fulton County Dispatch and 911.
Griggs told Thunderbolt News about his desire to seek the open position.(AUDIO)

The new City Manager said Hickman has some immediate needs that he hopes to help with.(AUDIO)
Griggs said the recent landslides onto Carroll Street and blighted property are also issues which will be receiving immediate attention from City Hall.
