The National Weather Service says the Ken-Tenn area is in a Slight Risk category for severe thunderstorms today.
Forecasters say the greatest threat will be large hail, strong winds and the possibility of a tornado.
Forecast models indicate the chance of strong to severe thunderstorms will be from noon until 10:00 tonight.
