UT Martin nose tackle Christian Dowell has been signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent.
Dowell, who is from Memphis, will join the Broncos at a rookie minicamp in May to try and earn a spot on the team’s 53 man roster during the offseason.
Dowell started in 14 games for the Skyhawks, earning All-American honors and All-Conference honors in the Big South-OVC. He ended last season with 29 total tackles and three tackles for loss.
During his collegiate career Dowell was a four-time conference champion and compiled 63 total tackles with 5.5 tackles for loss.
Dowell finished the 2024 season as the highest rated nose tackle in the FCS according to Pro Football Focus.
