
Over three years after a tornado destroyed the Cayce Fire Department, the rebuilding process is now underway.
The EF-4 tornado struck the Cayce community on the night of December 10th of 2021, causing widespread damage and one fatality.
After the tornado leveled the fire department building, and destroyed all vehicles and equipment, the process began to restore the needed service.
After many hours of work to secure funding for the project, Fulton County Judge Executive Jim Martin said construction has finally started.(AUDIO)
