UT Martin’s 11th annual Captain’s Challenge set records this year in money raised and total number of donors.
On April 2nd, the Captain’s Challenge brought in over $579,000 from 1,665 donors. The previous record was $470,000 in 2022.
The College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences had the highest single-designation gift amount at $108,000, followed by the Office of Intercollegiate Athletics at $97,000.
Gifts through the Captain’s Challenge came from 38 states as far away as the Pacific Coast states of Alaska, California, Oregon and Washington, as well as from the United Kingdom and Australia.
