Union City Council members received an update on the Midway community water situation.
Residents were without water for a period of time, then under a Boil Water Advisory, following the rupture of a main water line.
During Tuesday’s meeting at the Municipal Building, Mayor Terry Hailey requested an update from City Manager Johnny McTurner.(AUDIO)
Mayor Hailey and McTurner offered appreciation to those who repaired the ruptured line, which was located in flood water under a bridge.(AUDIO)
During the outage, a temporary two-inch water line was installed for the residents of Midway, with water service provided by the City of Martin.
