Pre-construction for a remodel has begun at the Walmart in Martin store 107 on Courtright Drive.
Store Manager Scotty Simmons says the store will be expanding their grocery, health and beauty, and home goods section. The front checkout will also be receiving an overhaul.
Mr. Simmons says customers can look forward to new items, a more modern look, and a cleaner store once the project is complete.
Every Walmart in West Tennessee has gone through a remodel over the last two years, with Martin and Dyersburg being the final stores.
The remodel is expected to be done in three month on the inside, while construction on the building will last for five months.
The Martin Walmart is open daily from 6 to 11.
