A now-former Paris police officer and his wife have been arrested and accused of child abuse after an investigation by the TBI.
On April 10th, TBI agents along with the Department of Children’s Services began investigating 23-year-old Alexandria Elkins and 26-year-old Brian Ray.
During the investigation authorities determined the two were responsible for injuries to their 3-year-old child.
On Monday, Elkins and Ray turned themselves into the Henry County Jail on charges of child abuse, neglect, and endangerment. A bond of $20,000 was set.
