Two small earthquakes have been recorded in the last week in Lake County.
A 2.1 tremor was recorded last Thursday morning around 10:40.
The earthquake was centered 4.1 miles north-west of Tiptonville.
The center of the earthquake was actually detected in the Mississippi River near North Ferry Road.
On Sunday morning, a 2.2 registered earthquake was recorded 3.8 miles north of Ridgely near Joe Schenk Road.
The tremor occurred around 7:30 at a depth of 5.2 miles.
