The public will get an opportunity this week to see proposed improvements to downtown Mayfield.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will hold a public meeting on Thursday afternoon at Graves County High School.
The meeting will provide an update on improvements for the “Rebuild Mayfield Project”.
The City of Mayfield was awarded a $25-million dollar RAISE grant, which will be paired with state funds.
The funds will be used to revitalize the downtown streetscape with upgrades to roadway and utility infrastructure, along with enhancements for safety and connectivity for pedestrians.
The open house format to view exhibits and talk with project officials will take place from 5:00 until 7:00.
